Emyvale Youth Club is a voluntary run club which meet over school term-time in the Emyvale Leisure Centre. We run two groups: 10 years+ (Primary school) from 6pm -7pm and Post Primary is from 7-8pm Friday evenings. We have recently signed up to be GAISCE pals and so volunteer hours can go towards a President’s medal (Gaisce Award).
We need some more volunteers for this coming term Sept – June 27. It’s 2 hours per week and we operate a rota so you don’t have to be there every Friday.
Ideally, we would love 4 additional volunteers 18 years plus. It might suit someone that is interested in pursuing a career in youth work, teaching, social care, coaching …. Or someone who has some extra time on their hands. You absolutely have to enjoy being with young people, and garda vetting will be required and child protection training.
Please contact Collette on 087 794 6789 or Monica on 087 244 1447 if you would like to volunteer.
